Enjoy veggie & fruit
trays, cheese & crackers, sweets and an
anniversary cake. There is no charge
for refreshments but donations of

sale in the Lawrence House kitchen, provided by the United
Church.
3:00pm to 3:30pm - Non-motorized Victorian
Processional makes it way through the village to the home of
the shipbuilder for the 'launch'.
Watch for our 'paupers' begging for coins
- they're looking for your support to keep Launch Day going!
3:00pm to 6:00 - BBQ on the museum grounds -
provided by the Maitland Fire Department.
3:30pm to 3:45pm - program on the museum
grounds - the re-enactment of the true story 'The Banishment
of the Whiskey Peddlers'.
3:45pm to 4:00pm - program on the museum
grounds - Welcome, introduction of the 'Great Ship' and the
story of her launch.
4:00pm to 4:30pm - Re-enactment of the launch
of the W.D. Lawrence. A 17 foot replica will be
launched from the site of the former Lawrence ship yards.

Robot!
'Moby
S. Loop is part of RRFB Nova Scotia’s education and awareness team.
Moby travels to schools, festivals and other events all over Nova
Scotia to support local efforts to promote waste reduction, reuse,
recycling and composting. He is a remote-controlled robot who can
speak, shake hands, sing songs, and even do a “recycling dance.”...
Moby loves to interact with kids and adults alike,
and he is sure to bring a smile to your face!'
